When you walk up to Bryce Canyon, there’s a sudden silence that falls across it. Probably because everyone is in such awe. This canyon was an accidental last minute stop for us, and boy were we ever glad we stopped! Bryce canyon is not actually a canyon but rather a collection of giant natural amphitheatres created by frost weathering and stream erosion of the river. I have never seen anything quite like this. We walked down a bit to explore but again the sun was setting so we couldn’t go all the way in without getting stuck in the dark. I could literally sit and stare at this canyon for hours. Seriously neat part of the earth to visit!
